City Information Officer Mendry-Ann Lim, representing Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, graced the launch of Solidaridad-IDP Foundation Inc., formerly known as Isabela Foundation, Inc., on November 16 at the CFF Office.

The event commenced with a Eucharistic mass officiated by Most Rev. Bishop Leo Dalmao, DD of the Prelature of Isabela de Basilan, followed by a program featuring welcome remarks from Sr. Ma. Valentina Rebollos.

In her address, CIO Lim extended her greetings for the significant occasion and conveyed Mayor Turabin-Hataman’s emphasis on the importance of partnerships in safeguarding and serving constituents, acknowledging the efforts of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and other partners and stakeholders. “While the government has existing programs and services for our children, everyone also needs to take action to support our children through synergy and collaborative initiatives,” she added.

CIO Lim also highlighted various LGU programs and projects, and city awards under Mayor Turabin-Hataman, recognizing the protection of children’s rights, highlighting that the City of Isabela has been accorded with the Seal of Child-friendly and local governance award twice in a row.

Messages of collective support were also shared by Lamitan City CSWDO Perlita Tacorda, DXNO Radyo Komunidad Station Manager Engr. Raymund Lintag, and ChildFund Partnership Portfolio Manager Jorge Sabiña. The event concluded with a pledge of commitment and signing.
