In addition to the first batch of 3 trucks received and turned over on August 4, the City Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman through the initiative of the Office of the Deputy Minority Floor Leader and Basilan Lone District Representative Mujiv Hataman, recently acquired 7 units of heavy equipment vehicles comprising of 4 single-cab and 3 double-cab units with a total expenditure of P11,858,400.

These funds, totaling P19,990,000, were sourced from the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) and were specifically allocated to enhance Solid Waste Management (SWM) efforts within the city. (Words by SJ Asakil/Photo by M. Santos, CIO)
