𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 | The City Government of Isabela, under the administration of Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, conducted a turn-over ceremony and handed over the symbolic key for the Isabela City Women’s Livelihood Training Center at Barangay Tabuk, September 6.
The event was personally graced by Mayor Turabin-Hataman and Vice Mayor Jhul Kifli Salliman together with Councilors Yusop Abubakar, Jeromy Casas, and Karel Annjaiza Sakkalahul. Also present were City Engineer Reynaldo Dagohoy, CSWDO OIC Nor-Aina Asmara, and CPDAO Gemma Casas-Paculio and Tabuk Punong-Barangay Julkipli Jahandal. In attendance were personnel from the City Social Welfare and Development Office, Public Employment Services Office, and other members of the Barangay Council of Tabuk.
The Isabela City Women’s Livelihood Training Center represents a visionary initiative that serves as a catalyst for positive change and gender equality in our city. This project costs P2,494,827.67 in total. Its primary goal is to empower women in our community by providing them with a training facility, the necessary skills, and knowledge to succeed in various fields.
In the same event, Phase II of the Mental Health Wellness Center worth P2, 479, 886.33 was also unveiled to augment existing programs of the City Government to address mental health needs of Isabeleños. (Words by KJ Lim/Photos by KJ Evardo, CIO)
