The City Government of Isabela, through the City Human Resource Management Office, initiated the observance of Civil Service Month and the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary with an Inter-Agency Kick-off Parade, September 4.
In his welcome remarks, Vice Mayor Jhul Kifli Salliman expressed the commitment to deliver the level of service that every Isabeleño deserves and also highlighted that the Sangguniang Panlungsod will continue to pass ordinances and resolutions aimed at contributing to the progress of Isabela.
During the kick-off program, messages of support were conveyed by CSC Chairperson Atty. Karlo Nograles, Basilan General Hospital Medical Center Chief Dr. Sitti Nurussamsi Amilhasan, and DepEd-Isabela City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Julieto Fernandez, as they expressed their commitment to public service excellence and collaboration with the CSC.
In her inspiring message, Mayor Turabin-Hataman urged all public servants to embrace agility and view their roles as a sacred calling, committed to leading Isabela City towards a future marked by prosperity, equality, and justice for all.
The City Government also took the initiative to oversee the turnover of a vehicle to the Local Council for the Protection of Children.
