To achieve quality assessment of nutrition implementation, the Regional Nutrition Evaluation of Zamboanga Peninsula headed by National Nutrition Council IX conducted monitoring and evaluation activity to the City Nutrition Action Officer Jesielyn Puno as candidate for Regional Outstanding CNAO, July 24, at the Sakayan Conference Room.

The MELLPI Pro is also a tool use to assess the performance of local nutrition workers such as Nutrition Action Officers (NAOs) and District/City Nutrition Program Coordinators (DCNPCs) and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNSs).

Participating were the member agencies of the RNET, namely: NNC IX RNPC Nimfa Ekong, NDAP ZamPen Chapters BoD Ma. Dolores Paredes, NNC IX DMO Karla Calapardo, DOH-CHD IX Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator Chrystala Dela Cerna and DepEd-Zamboanga City SGOD Health and Nutrition Unit Eric Bankal.

Also present were City Administrator Pedrito Eisma, DXNO Station Manager Engr. Raymond Lintag and Program Director Jayson Arcan, IPMR and Councilor Mary May Julhari, DILG LGOO Jaber Jalmani, and other representatives from LGU-Isabela City including Nutrition Program Coordinator RND Nujaima Abdurahman and BNS Tabuk Norlita Alberto.
