Led by Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Sales Group Alexander Caeg and First Vice President and Deputy Head of Consumer Sales John Palanca, the group discussed areas of collaboration with the City Government, highlighting their bullish assessment of the regional market, including this area of Mindanao.

For her part, Mayor Turabin-Hataman expressed appreciation for the visit, saying this affirms the strides made by the city in becoming a business and investment destination. The local chief executive also raised the issues of the ongoing SIM Card registration, and signal and mobile data connectivity for a population that has become increasingly digital.

The SMART-PLDT contingent was composed of Assistant Vice President Center Head Jonathan Dela Cruz, and George Carmelo Clemente, Network Field Services Head Rommel Robillos, Area Customer Development Managers Ma. Theresa Macadaan and Hazel Nabatar, Trade Marketing Operations Manager Junilyn Pol.

Also present were Police Regional Office IX regional director PBGEN Neil Alinsañgan, City Administrator and concurrent City Legal Officer Atty. Adzlan Imran, LEDIPO Chief Jaime Juanito Rivera, CHRMO Rosella Luna, City Assessor Vido Yu and other city government officials.
