Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, a former teacher herself and a prominent advocate for education, graced the Pre-Education Summit, June 01, organized by the Department of Education Schools Division Office of Isabela City at ISAWAD Conference Hall.
During the activity, participants went on to identify gaps on key areas such as policy development, human resources, resources and facilities, curriculum enhancements, and the critical domains of health and child protection.
This significant event aimed to pave the way for the upcoming first-ever Education Summit with the theme: “Collective Ownership: Resolving Learning Gaps” organized by the Provincial Government of Basilan scheduled to take place on June 06 in Lamitan City.
