Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman welcomed, May 31, Surigao City Vice Mayor Alfonso Casurra and officials from the Schools Division Office of Surigao City led by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Marilou Dedumo.
The team was in Isabela City for their benchmarking activity with Badjao Floating Integrated School as part of their initiatives relative to Indigenous Peoples’ Education. A champion of the indigenous peoples’ communities in Isabela City, Mayor Turabin-Hataman expressed appreciation for the endeavor as she sees that it is an affirmation and recognition for the premium extended by the city government toward empowering inclusivity, most especially in the area of education.
