On May 19, City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman attended a meeting of the Islamic Microfinance Livelihood Assistance Program-Support Group Association (IMLAP-SGA) at the Sakayan Conference Room. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the issues and concerns raised by fruit vendors as well as to address the challenges faced by the fruit vendors and explore potential solutions or support mechanisms to improve their livelihoods.
During the meeting, the seventh cycle cash distribution activity of the IMLAP-SGA was discussed. A total of 67 members of the association received loan grants ranging from PHP5,000 to PHP30,000. The cash distribution activity aimed to provide financial support to these members, enabling them to utilize the funds for their respective business ventures or livelihood projects.
