Police Regional Office 9 Regional Director PBGEN Neil Alinsañgan, May 10, at Isabela City Hall for the latter’s tour and courtesy visit.
PBGEN Alinsañgan was joined by Deputy Regional Director for Operations PCOL Lawrence Cajipe, Chief of Regional Staff PCOL Romeo Espero Jr., Regional Intelligence Division Chief PCOL Ricky Deliles, Regional Operations Division Chief PCOL Rainier Diaz, Chief of the Medical Dispensary PMAJ Jubaira Pandaog, MD, Administrative Officer PMAJ Kres Christopher Nullar, PLTCOL Joseph Reales Maulad, and PCAPT Gomer Sacala. The contingent was also ably hosted by Isabela City Police Station Chief PLTCOL Junpikar Sitin.
Representative Hataman began by extending his gratitude to all elements of the Philippine National Police (PNP) for securing all Isabeleños and visitors during the 12-day long Sakayan Festival. This was seconded by Mayor Turabin-Hataman who cited the tourist arrivals recorded by the Isabela City last year as proof of the stable peace and order situation in the city, in part, a product of the positive collaboration and cooperation between the City Government and the PNP. Meanwhile, City Administrator and concurrent City Legal Officer Atty. Adzlan Imran mentioned the installation of high-definition closed-circuit television cameras in key areas of the city, the institution of a command center, the provision of patrol vehicles, and community-based force multipliers as some of the efforts made by the City Government to deter crime, bringing back confidence among residents and barangays.
For his part, PBGEN Alinsañgan vowed to sustain the initiatives of the PNP in securing Isabela City, most especially in the upcoming Barangay and SK Elections. In addition, the PRO IX regional director bared a medical mission in Lampinigan scheduled this May 27 as part of the agency’s community relations and extension activities.
Productive engagement with security forces and stakeholders is one of the hallmarks of a progressive approach employed by Mayor Turabin-Hataman in the area of peace, order, and public safety as seen is award-winning endeavors of the City Anti-Crime Council and City Anti-Drug Abuse Council –all in keeping with ideal of a “Safe, Secure and Resilient Community” as platform toward the realization of a happy and dignified life for all Isabeleños.
