RENEWAL OF BUSINESS PERMITS STARTS JANUARY 3, 2023 UNTIL JANUARY 20, 2023
APPLICATION FOR NEW BUSINESS PERMITS IS FROM JANUARY 3, 2023 TO DECEMBER 29, 2023 (YEAR ROUND)
Per provisions under the Joint Memorandum Circular No. 01, s. 2021 of the Anti Red Tape Authority (ARTA), Dept of Trade and Industru (DTI), Dept of the Interior and Local Govt (DILG), and the Dept of Information Communications Technology (DICT), the only requirements for the issuance of a BUSINESS PERMIT shall be the following:
NEW BUSINESS PERMIT (Year round)
Requirements:
Proof of Registration
SEC for Corporations OR
CDA for Cooperatives OR
DTI for Sole Proprietors
Proof of right of applicant to use location as business address:
If owned,
Transfer Certificate of Title OR
Tax Declaration
If not owned,
Contract of Lease OR
Memorandum of Agreement OR
Written consent of property owner
Location plan OR sketch of the Iocation.
Fire Safety Inspection Certificate (FSIC) OR
Affidavit of Undertaking stating that no substantial changes have been made in the building/establishment with an existing FSIC
BUSINESS PERMIT RENEWAL (January 3 to 20, 2022)
Requirements:
Audited Financial Statement or
Sworn declaration of gross sales or receipts
The City expects a substantial increase in Business Permits issued with the full implementation of the guidelines as provided under ARTA-DTI-DILG-DICT JMC No. 01, s. 2021.
SANITARY PERMITS:
The LGU shall require a sanitary permit only for businesses covered in the Sanitation Code of the Philippines which are listed herein below (Annex 5).
Food establishments
Markets and abattoirs
Public laundry
Schools and health services
Industrial establishments
Public swimming or bathing places
Bus terminals and service stations
Dance halls and night clubs
Tonsorial and beauty establishments
Massage clinics and sauna bath establishments
Hotels, motels, apartments, lodging, boarding or tenement houses and condominiums
