𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 | On December 1, through the initiative of the Office of House of Representatives and in close collaboration with the City Government of Isabela, Basilan Lone District Representative Mujiv Hataman together with Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman led the turnover ceremony of the Kumalarang-Lumbang Road (Phase II).
Implemented by DPWH-Basilan with a P20,576,778.57 million project cost, the 1.190-meter new concrete road serves as a farm-to-market road (FMR) to facilitate ease of transport of agricultural products to the market center, resulting in increased income for farmers. It also ensures a safe and efficient journey for locals and travelers alike who are enroute to other barangays in Isabela City.
Rep. Hataman also visited the remaining 1.8 kms extension of the road which remains to be concreted.
