Peace Weaver Awardees Hon. Jim Salliman, Maluso Mayor Hanie Bud, Isabela City Health Officer Dr. Mohrein Ismael VI, Dr. Philip Tan represented by UECI Chairperson Pastor Ronal Paulino, posthumous awardee Apu Ambalang Ausalin in the person of Lamitan City, OSCA Head Vicky Siason, Lamitan Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Myra Mangkabung, PIA Asst. Regional Director Rene Carbayas, NFI Executive Director Miriam Suacito, and BUSCF Chairperson Dr. Aboulkhair Tarason all expressed their commitment to bringing them all together for one purpose and promoting a peaceful environment throughout the community in their messages.

Mindanao Week of Peace is a week-long event held throughout Mindanao in accordance with Presidential Proclamation No. 127, which states that all government agencies and their instrumentalities, as well as Mindanao’s civil society, are encouraged to participate in relevant and meaningful activities during this annual celebration.
