Being key contributors in strengthening several research and development (R&D) programs, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) IX headed by CSTD, CSTC-2CIC Ricardo Apolinario III met with Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin Hataman, October 13 at Isabela City Hall to present DOST IX’s project, programs and activities slated for Isabela City.
CSTD, CSTC-2CIC Apolinario III discussed the Grants-In-Aid, Small Enterprises Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP), S&T Scholarships, R&D Initiatives and Research and Development programs of DOST IX.
During the discussion, potential projects were identified, such as addressing the needs of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), providing packaging and labelling services, interventions on seafood scarcity caused by overharvest, desalinization and electrification in Barangay Lampinigan, and identifying potential public schools for Starbooks intervention in Isabela City.
