Isabela City Task Force Disiplina (ICTFD) together with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Basilan District Office and PNP Isabela City Police Station conducted an Orientation and Deputation Training Workshop for Isabela City Government and PNP-ICPS Traffic Enforcers, October 10 at the Sakayan Conference Room, City Hall.
ICTFD Chair and concurrent City General Services Officer Eugene Strong welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of being knowledgeable about traffic management rules especially for members of the ICTFD.
In the morning, the formal discussion was delivered by LTO-Basilan District Office chief of operations Husni Jalaludin who adequately explained the topics on driving methods, road safety, driver courtesy and discipline. This was followed by his colleagues Robert Hakalan and Abdel Ghazier Salialam who presented the role of LTO in the regulation of drivers and vehicles. Meanwhile, in the afternoon, a demonstration of actual operation and deputation was done along the BCR Highway fronting the city hall.
For his part, City Administrator and City Legal Officer Atty. Adzlan Imran reiterated the need for both enforcers and the driving public in Isabela City to be aware of existing traffic laws to enforce order in the city’s streets.
