Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman met with the representatives from United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Philippines to discussed their Supply Strengthening Mission 2022 and the mapping of vendors in the areas that match the requirement of UNICEF, June 20 at the Sakayan Conference Room.
Discussed during the meeting were the expansion of the UNICEF Philippines on its partnership with suppliers/vendors for goods and services through its Emergency Supply Strengthening Project.
The partnership aims to increase UNICEF’s supply and service provider based outside Metro Manila and establish LTA’s relative to the locally produced emergency supply; establish a prepositioning plan of supplies in coordination with programme/fundraising/partnership and update the Emergency Supply Planning of the EPP.
