The City Government of Isabela headed by Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman through Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager Aradelria Belleng conducted the 2022 edition of the Dia de Isabeleños: Pasangen Sin Katabangan, March 01 at the BNHS Multi-Purpose Hall.
The event served as an avenue for different participating government and private agencies to bring awareness and provide their respective programs and services to all participants.
Government services included:
PESO (free printing of resume, application letter and photo ID printing (1×1,2×2 and passport size))
DOLE (first time job seekers act orientation and info dissemination)
CAO (provision of free seeds)
CDRRMO (emergency response team and first aid demo orientation)
CCR (mass wedding registration and registration of birth, marriage and death documents)
CHRMO (offers of job vacancies)
CHO (vaccination and birth control implant)
CSWD (acceptance of ID application for solo parent and PWDs)
CTO (raffle draw with prizes)
CIO (information and advocacy services of the LGU)
CVO (free anti-rabies vaccination)
LEDIPO (financial literacy orientation)
POPCOM (free DEPO and distribution of pills and condoms)
SSS (online access assistance and inquiry on verification of contribution)
PHILHEALTH (registration for new members)
PSA (National ID processing)
BGH (free medical consultation)
DTI (livelihood opportunities and orientation)
AFP (free tuli and haircut)
PAO (free legal consultation and notarization)
LTO (driver’s license application and inquiries)
Meanwhile, DSWD, DENR, TESDA and LTO provided information dissemination. The RED CROSS Basilan Chapter did a first aid demonstration.
Private enterprises that offered job vacancies include WILLY’S DELIVERY, SOPHIA JEWELLERY, GABMAR MANPOWER AGENCY,
TROY’S CONSTRUCTION COMPANY and BASELCO.
AMIN PARTY LIST, on the other hand, sponsored food packs and face masks.
Mayor Hataman pushed for the conduct of the event as a means to bring hope and reprieve to the Isabeleños, especially during this time of global health crisis.
