Newly installed Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Chief, SINSP Edgar Quitoy had a courtesy call, February 02, Wednesday, with Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman to discuss the proposed purchase of a lot to host the Isabela City Fire Station at Barangay Sumagdang.
SINSP Quitoy also raised the need to purchase three fire hydrants to be placed at three barangays in the city. Meanwhile, Mayor Hataman mentioned about the intent to reclaim a plot of land at Barangay Carbon, Malamawi where a public market and a fire station may be constructed.
The local chief executive also noted the request of coastal barangays for a fire pump.
Also present during the meeting were BFP personnel SFO2Ramil Araneta, SFO2 Vicmar Francisco and FO1 Erika Jean Acebuque.
