Atleast 21 Sadlufun Bangkeros were gathered for a 3-day Basic Life Support Training hosted by the Department of Tourism Region 9 – Zamboanga Peninsula with Isabela City Tourism Office in coordination with the City Disaster Risks Reduction and Management Office starting today, August 1 – Sept. 2, 2021 at Tabuk Barangay this City.
During the activity, CDRRMO Admin and Training Sanction Chief Ambulance Team Leader Ms. Maevel M. Francisco tackled the COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols and the Basic First Aid which shall assist responders during their rescue in life-threatening medical emergencies and give high-quality chest compressions and deliver appropriate ventilations.
Meanwhile, CDRRMO WaSar Team Leader Nazies W. Maulod discussed about the WASAR which provides search and rescue training exercise to save people from drowning.
Training includes personal safety and survival, basic life saving, to rubber boat assembly and engine operation as well as navigation and maneuver rules.
In attendance were City Tourism Officer Claudio Ramos II, Dept. of Tourism Michelle Gonzales, CDRRMO WaSar Team Leader Nazies W. Maulod and Chief Ambulance Team Leader Ms. Maevel M. Francisco, 19th SFC and the Sadlufun Bangkeros Association.
