Atleast 230 individuals composed of women, PWDs, OSY returnees, Youth and Child laborer beneficiaries were trained for skills training in food processing and arts and crafts conducted by the City Government of Isabela de Basilan through the Public Employment Service Office in partnership with TESDA IX this August.
The livelihood and skills training started last August 3 and concluded today, August 27, 2021.
Trainings were held at the Women’s Center, Tabuk, Isabela City de Basilan, this city.
The activity, which is among the identified top point priorities of Mayor Dadah which includes care for the vulnerable members of the community aims to provide opportunity to women and other vulnerable sectors on production of goods for sustainable livelihood. The same shall also enhance learned skills which can provide more career opportunities and help improve recipients’ current living conditions.
