We are pleased to announce that as of August 6, 2021, Department of Tourism – Region 9 through the coordination with the Isabela City Tourism Office accredited the following Tourism Enterprises in Isabela de Basilan’s Local Government Unit. We feel elated to know that DOT Accreditation has finally reached the shores of Isabela de Basilan.

• Hotels – Kassinahan Hotel and Resort and Basilan Business Hotel

• Mabuhay Accomodation – Farmland Resort and Querexeta Formation Center

• Tour Guides – Isabela de Basilan has the most number of Accredited Tour Guides in the region

The DOT Accreditation Certificate, which is issued by the Department of Tourism (DOT) to a tourism enterprise/person and officially recognizes it as having complied with the minimum standards for the operation of tourism facilities and services, was awarded to a total of 4 tourism enterprises and 15 tour guides. The DOT Region 9 Accreditation staff will periodically update this list.

We are continuously working with the Department of Tourism and other Tourism Enterprises and services for their accreditation.
