City Government of Isabela de Basilan joins the 1st Death Anniversary commemoration of the late Councilor Nida P. Dans through a small gathering held today, at the Women’s Livelihood Center in Tabuk Barangay, this city.
This activity was initiated by Mother’s for Peace to commemorate the achievements and milestones of the late councilor NIDA DANS who passed away August 17 last year.
Mayor Dadah A. Turabin-Hataman was invited to grace the activity expressing her continuous support for the welfare of women of Isabela City. Councilor Nida was a known advocate of women empowerment and was the lead figure to establish organizations ensuring protection to women’s right.

“Hindi pa natin maaabot ang lawak ng naging experience nya. But we strive to follow in her footsteps. Ang mahalaga we continue to dream her dream not just for the women of Isabela but the entire Isabela, ” she said.
