City Mayor Sitti Djalia A. Turabin-Hataman, Basilan Rep. Mujiv Hataman, along with health representatives both of public and private medical institutions convened Monday, May 17, 2021 to discuss recommendations for the implementation of the One Hospital Command Center (OHCC) in the Province and how the City of Isabela can help, considering a majority of all hospitals in Basilan are located in the City.
 
Joining Mayor Dadah were Basilan General Hospital Chief Nurse Maria Bernardina L. Idris, Mr. Victor Moore Infante Ututalum of Infante Hospital, Ms Diana Puno of Basilan Community Hospital, Supervising Nurse Jeanilyn Jagoh of J. S. Alano Memorial Hospital, Mr J-Gil Tan pf the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, LEDIPO/ACDRRMO Jamju A. Rivera, Bernardita Hontucan of the City Health Office, and City Administrator Joel Zanoria.
 
Discussed during the meeting were recommendations agreed during the One Hospital Command System (OHCS) meeting held last May 11, 2021, some of which requires support from DOH Central Office.
 
Mayor Hataman also discussed possibilities of improving hospital bed-capacity to cater to moderate and severe Covid patients, as well other avenues of cooperation between the LGU and local hospitals.
