Mayor Dadah Turabin-Hataman together with Usec Earl Saavedra of the Dangerous Drugs Board graced the Ceremonial Turn-over of the City Community-Based Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, Monday, April 5, 2021 at Sitio Lantung, Isabela City.
The facility which costs around 4.8 million pesos is one of the priority projects of this administration in line with its top priority agenda of a Safe and Secured Isabela City.
Joining Mayor Dadah and Usec. Saavedra during the ceremonial ribbon cutting were City Administrator Joel Zanoria, City Engineer Gian Carlo Luna, City Information Officer Mendry Ann A. Lim and Councilors Ritchie Biel and Jashim Tiplani representing the Office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
In his message, Usec. Saavedra applauded city’s best practices citing City Mayor’s laudable performance in its continuous drive to eradicate the use of illegal drugs in the city. He also praised City’s efforts in pushing through with the construction of the facility amid the demand and challenges posed by the current health crisis. He furthered that among the LGUs awarded with the same project, Isabela City is one of the few to complete construction within the agreed timeframe.
Mayor Dadah meanwhile thanked Usec. Saavedra for the continuous support and committed to sustain programs aimed at rehabilitating affected individuals. She also looks forward for more engagements with the Dangerous Drugs Board and grateful of the upcoming projects that will be used to improve the new facility.
