March 31, 2021 | LIGTAS COVID TTMF 2, Sumagdang, ISABELA CITY,
Basilan – Deputy Speaker Mujiv S. Hataman conducted a joint ocular inspection with DPWH DEO team, City Administrator Joel Zanoria, CHO Dr Mohrein Ismael VI and ACDRRMO Jamju Rivera at the soon-to-open DOH-standard LIGTAS COVID Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility 2 located at Purok Rubber, Sumagdang, this city.
The 53-bed capacity TTMF strictly follows DOH guidelines on the establishment of a facility that would cater to COVID19 suspects referred from triage at ports of entry, pending cases (swabbed, awaiting results) and asymptomatic or mild confirmed active cases.
The facility complements the city’s already existing Ligtas COVID TTMF 1 20-bed capacity facility at Cabunbata, and 45 Barangay Isolation Units (BIUs) with a total of 225 beds capacity.
With existing IATF guidelines and as provided in the DOH Surge Capacity Plan requiring public hospitals to prepare at least 30% bed capacity for COVID and 20% bed capacity for private hospitals at 8 and 15 beds respectively, the total bed capacity across all hospitals and facilities in Isabela City will be at 321 beds total.
Ligtas Covid TTMF 2 is a DPWH DEO project funded thru the initiative of Deputy Speaker Mujiv S. Hataman and Mayor Sitti Djalia A Turabin-Hataman.
