January 25, 2020 | A ceremonial signing of the MOA between LGU-Isabela City and National Housing Authority (NHA) for the development of Monte Vista Subdivision in Barangay Lanote was held at the Sakayan Hall, Isabela City Hall Complex, this City on Monday morning.
The NHA has approved the grant of financial assistance to LGU-Isabela City for the development of Monte Vista Subdivision with an allocation of 24,983,937.87 under the Resettlement Assistance Program for Local Government Units, (RAP-LGU).
The project shall be jointly funded by NHA which shall provide the amount of over 24M to cover the estimated cost for land development to include general requirements and housing construction. Meanwhile, LGU-Isabela City shall provide the land and funds in excess of the amount allocated by NHA for land development and construction of housing units of the project.
The project is primarily intended to provide housing assistance to families residing in danger areas, those affected by the infrastructure projects of the LGU, those with Court Orders for eviction and other urban poor families who qualify for relocation and resettlement assistance under RA 7279.
Parties present during the MOA signing include LGU Isabela City, represented by City Mayor Sitti Djalia A. Turabin-Hataman; National Housing Authority as represented by Acting Regional Manager Engr. Clemente A. Dayot; NHA District Manager Engr. Al-Khwarizmi U. Indanan and City Engr. Joseph A. Lazaro.
