The City Government of Isabela under the leadership of Mayor Sitti Djalia A. Turabin-Hataman through its City Information Office conducted its information session related to the registration of business permits in the HAPIsabela LGU Hour program aired via 97.5 DXNo Radyo Komunidad, June 1, Wednesday.
Albert Porticos, head of the BPLD and Melihsa Antonio, LRCO III of the Office of the City Treasury graced the session. They discussed the three simple steps on how to secure a business permit: first is the application, second the assessment and payment and lastly, the releasing of business permit. Also tackled were different requirements needed for both new and renewal application/registration of business permit and other related topics. Aside from business tax, different regulatory fees were also expounded by Ms. Antonio to clear up why these fees are being collected by the City.
At the end of the program, Mr. Porticos and Ms. Antonio appealed to the public especially those who are engaged in business to be compliant enough and be a law abiding citizen through paying taxes regardless of business size.
