The City Government of Isabela under the administration of Mayor Sitti Djalia A. Turabin-Hataman through the City Information Office conducted the 1st Quarter General BION Assembly, March 10 at the City Infirmary Multipurpose Hall.
City Information Officer Mendry Ann A. Lim discussed the presentation of Communication Plan/Template and BION Updates/Accomplishment Reports as part of compliance to receive the monthly allowance from the City Government. She also stated that there are still lined-up activities and plans in partnership with PIA that aims to provide a more efficient services and information to the constituents. At the same time, the Assembly opened the election for the new set of Isabela City BION officers.
Meanwhile, Philippine Information Agency Isabela City Infocenter Manager Nhilda T. Reyes discussed EO 70 institutionalizing the whole-of-nation approach in attaining inclusive and sustainable peace, creating a national task force to end local communist armed conflict, and directing the adoption of a national peace framework. ELCAC has been highly effective in addressing in the decades-long communist insurgency and is helping to bring increased peace, security, development and stability in communities affected by armed conflict.
