Liezt Rean L. Tago, a Grade 10 student of Basilan National High School together with Principal Lyna H. Basri, and coach Ms. Rosemarie N. Bontia paid a courtesy visit to Isabela City Mayor Sitti Djalia Hataman, March 1.
Tago emerged as champion in the recently concluded 10th ASEAN Quiz Regional Level held at DepEd RO9, Pagadian City on February 17, representing the Isabela City Schools Division.
On March 10, Tago will represent Zamboanga Peninsula and compete for the 10th National ASEAN Quiz in Quezon City.
Mayor Hataman expressed her pride for such victory and exhorted Tago to do her best in the finals.
The said group was also joined by other BNHS faculty.
