LEDIPO SPES SCHOLARS OF DOLE/PESO CRASH COURSE ON BUSINESS PERMITS AND LICENSES INSPECTION
April 16, 2021 | CDRRMO OpCen, ISABELA CITY, Basilan – Seventeen (17) scholars of the Department of Labor and Employment and Public Employment Service Office – Special Program for the Employment of Students (DOLE/PESO SPES) undergo a crash course on Business Permits and Licenses, Inspection and other concerns conducted by LEDIPO, along with some partners at Isabela City’s now year-round Business One Stop Shop (BOSS):
Business Permits and Licensing Division
City Health Office – Sanitary Inspection Permit
City Engineer’s Office – Electrical and Building Permits
Bureau of Fire Protection – Isabela City Fire Station
LEDIPO SPES will be deployed to conduct a Preliminary Inspection/Survey of all business establishments in the city, upon which a negative list of permits and licenses violators or non-compliant business shall undergo a secondary level investigation by the City’s Inspectorate Team.
Isabela City’s number of duly registered new business or business renewals grew from 1,324 in 2019 to 1,555 in 2020, a manifest sign that, pre-pandemic, the city has already been experiencing a clearly upwards trajectory in terms of business dynamism, infrastructure, government efficiency, and resiliency
