A plaque of recognition was awarded to City Mayor Sitti Djalia A. Turabin-Hataman, Thursday, January 14 at the Office of the City Mayor, City Hall, this City by representatives from DOH-Region IX.

 

Along with Mayor Hataman, City Health Officer Dr. Mohrein Ismael VI was also recognized by the Region for his efforts, sacrifices and response in battling COVID-19 crisis.

The awards were in recognition to the strengthened COVID-19 response implemented by the City Government through the Isabela City Anti-COVID-19 Taskforce chaired by City Mayor Sitti Djalia A. Turabin-Hataman.

 

Just recently, Isabela City was also lauded in the recently conducted RIATF- RTF meeting via zoom as Isabela City ranked as lowest in terms of number of COVID-19 cases. The City is currently considered as the least/minimal risk area throughout the Zamboanga Peninsula Region.
