May 29, 2020| Isabela City de Basilan Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin Hataman joyfully checked all the entries of this year’s Crescent Moon Making Contest as part of the Eid Kasalamatan 2020 celebration.

Another first in the City of Isabela de Basilan, a total of 13 Crescent Moon entries were judged by Ustadz members of the Isabela City Madaris Association.

Lady Councilors Karel Sakkalahul and Sarah Ismael also joined the panel of Judges for the said contest.

We are very happy to provide another platform where in Isabeleños are able to showcase the untapped creativity and potentials.

Also conducted is the Arabic Calligraphy Contest.
